The king of the Netherlands has shared an adorable photo recreating the moment he proposed to his now-wife.
King Willem-Alexander, 53, posted the photo to the Dutch royal family’s official Instagram page on Valentine’s Day with the caption, “More than 20 years later, same place. Enjoy on the ice”.
In the photo he is down on one knee, holding Queen Máxima’s hand, as they wear skates on the icy pond.
