Gold Coast primary school student ordered into van in alleged abduction attempt

A girl has been approached and told to get into a van by an unknown person as she left her Gold Coast primary school.
An “urgent message” was sent to parents of Helensvale State School about “stranger danger” on Monday after the incident on Friday afternoon.
Principal Heidi Booth has warned parents to be vigilant following the incident.
