Roos rule out relocation as AFL great slams Kennett’s ‘Tassie Hawks’ claim
North Melbourne CEO Ben Amarfio has emphatically shut down any suggestion the Kangaroos could permanently move south to Tasmania.
The Kangaroos currently play four games in the state per season with an existing deal along with Hawthorn expiring at the end of the season.
The Tasmanian Government has reportedly threatened the AFL that it would end its association with the two clubs, if the competition couldnt commit to a stand-alone team in the state.
