Councils yet to move on disability parking fines
Almost six months after the government hiked the value of police issued fines for illegal parking in disability bays, a number of councils, including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, are yet to follow suit.Brisbane City Council has also not increased its fine, but will finish a review this year with a plan to make the penalty $533, which would bring them into line with the state government fine.
