Racing Queensland Jockey Welfare has reported Jason Taylor has been moved from ICU to the Trauma Ward at Gold Coast University Hospital after a shocking incident at the Gold Coast races on Saturday.
Taylor was diagnosed with eight broken ribs, a punctured lung, facial injuries and bruising following the freak incident which occurred as horses were entering the barriers for the fourth race.
The veteran jockey was crushed under his mount Final Ascent after the first starter flipped backwards on him…
