5km from your home: Calculate your 5km bubble during Victoria’s lockdown – Time Out Melbourne
Melbourne residents can’t travel further than 5km from your home as part of new circuit breaker restrictions this February.

In case you didn’t hear the news, all of Victoria is back under stage four lockdown restrictions from 11.59pm Friday, February 12, as part of a “circuit breaker”. The restrictions mean the return of the 5km bubble, meaning that during those five days residents cannot travel further than 5km from home. You must provide an essential reason to leave your 5k and it can only be for essential shopping, caregiving, exercise and to work if work cannot be done from home.
But this isn’t Victoria’s first…
