Much-loved world No.3 left blushing
Japanese star Naomi Osaka has developed into a crowd favourite in Australia, particularly after her 2019 title win, and has revealed she loves the “Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!” chant.
The world No.3 told spectators at John Cain Arena after today’s 6-3 6-2 victory over Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur – and that of course prompted the entire crowd to belt out the famous tune, making Osaka blush.
