Thiem (right) played at Novak Djokovic’s Adria Tour and was actually very prolific on tour last year, while Kyrgios stayed completely away from the sport once COVID hit.

Kyrgios had some things to say about the risks of playing during the pandemic, and Djokovic, Thiem and others had some words back at him.

Thiem: “”It was [Djokovic’s] mistake, but I don’t understand why a lot of people want to interfere. Kyrgios did a lot of mistakes himself. It would be better for him to come clean instead of criticising others.”
