The Rip Curl Pro will return to Bells Beach on Victoria’s Surf Coast next year and be held at the beach until at least 2024 under a new agreement between the State Government and World Surf League (WSL).
- The three-year agreement was struck with the World Surf League after this year’s competition was cancelled due to coronavirus
- The surfing competition has been held at Bells Beach every year since 1961 and generates about $8 million for the local economy
