Queensland border shut to Greater Melbourne as COVID-19 cluster sparks lockdown

Greater Melbourne residents will again be locked out of Queensland amid a cluster of COVID-19 cases linked to a quarantine hotel.
People coming from Greater Melbourne will not be able to cross the Queensland border for 14 days from 1am on Saturday.
The decision on Friday comes a day after Queensland Health reintroduced the border pass system for anyone coming from Victoria.
Thirteen cases are linked to the Holiday Inn at Melbourne Airport, which has sparked a five-day lockdown across Victoria.
