Detectives on the Sunshine Coast have arrested a man who allegedly defrauded his employer of around $70 000.
It will be alleged the 54-year-old Buderim man used his position within a construction company to manipulate invoices and engage contractors working for his employer to complete works on his own, personal home renovation.
The man also allegedly used construction sites run by his employer to dump waste from his own personal projects. He has been charged with 18 counts of fraud and steal as a clerk or servant.
He was issued with a notice to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 23 February.
