Extinction Rebellion block Riverside Expressway off-ramp, clogging Pacific Motorway

Extinction Rebellion activists staged a sitting protest on a Riverside Expressway off-ramp in the heart of Brisbane on Wednesday morning, creating traffic delays back onto the Pacific Motorway.
The protesters blocked the Turbot Street off-ramp about 8am with a “triangle of temporary fencing”, to which two activists then attached themselves, using “bike locks around their necks”.

The activists involved, 26-year-old Justice and 19-year-old Jupiter, also chained themselves and the fencing to the railings of the Riverside Expressway ramp.
