Sydney actor Dan Wyllie found not guilty of domestic violence against wife

Actor Dan Wyllie has been found not guilty of assaulting his wife, film and television director Shannon Murphy, at their Sydney home last year.

- Fellow actor Toni Collette appeared on the witness stand, vouching for Mr Wyllie’s character
The 50-year-old Love My Way actor pled not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault, stemming from an incident in which Ms Murphy tipped yoghurt and flax seed on Mr Wyllie’s head.
Ms Murphy alleged Mr Wyllie then threw her into a wall and pinned her to the ground.
