Dr Hilary has addressed speculation that mass gatherings, such as weddings and festivals, won’t be allowed for ‘several years’.
During today’s episode of Good Morning Britain, the medical expert told hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan that he thinks this would be a worst case scenario.
But the 67-year-old did say that we have to be pragmatic about the spread of the virus, as the more it spreads the more likely it will mutate, Manchester Evening News reports.
