Aussies’ iPhone obsession is saving the phone industry – The Australian Financial Review
Nearly one in two phones sold in Australia last year was an iPhone, new sales figures reveal.

Foad Fadaghi, managing director of Telsyte, told TheAustralian Financial Review that Apple continued to reap the benefits of the customer lock-in it achieved by creating a suite of products, including the MacBook, the iPad and the iPhone, that all worked closely with each other.
It is a feat that Windows and Android have yet to replicate, despite Microsoft working closely with Samsung these past several years.
