Ireland coach Andy Farrell is backing a gutted’ Peter OMahony to recover from his Six Nations red card for a reckless shoulder charge and has wondered why Wales were not punished for other incidents.
OMahony was sent off in the 14th minute after hitting a ruck and leading with his shoulder, striking Wales prop Tomas Francis in an act described in the Irish press “a moment of madness.
