If Serena Williams’ outfit brought a sense of deja vu during the first round of the Australian Open, you’d be right.
Griffith Joyner famously wore a purple one-legged suit – or a one-legger as she called it – when she set records for the 100-metre and 200-metre sprint during the Olympic trials in 1988. She remains the fastest woman of all time.
