French star Gael Monfils has broken down into tears in his post-match press conference after a stunning loss to Finnish young gun Emil Ruusuvuori ended his Australian Open campaign.
Monfils, seeded No.10 in the men’s singles draw, continued his horror run since the COVID-19 layoff in 2020, with Ruusuvuori running out a 3-6 6-4 7-5 3-6 6-3 winner.
