NT declares three Melbourne suburbs coronavirus hotspots in change to border rules

The Northern Territory Government has quietly changed its border rules for people travelling from Melbourne, removing 10 declared hotspots while adding three in response to a new coronavirus cases in the city over the weekend.
Key points:
- Maidstone, Sunshine and Taylors Lakes have been declared coronavirus hotspots, effective immediately
- Ten suburbs that were declared coronavirus hotspots last week have had their declarations revoked
- The changes were first announced in a Facebook status shortly after they came into effect
The suburbs of Maidstone, Sunshine and Taylors Lakes are now coronavirus hotspots, and anyone arriving in the NT from those areas will be ordered into a fortnight of mandatory quarantine.
