“It’s not on”: North Melbourne tagger apologises for McKenna sledge – SEN
North Melbourne have spoken.

North Melbourne coach Rhyce Shaw has confirmed tagger Luke McDonald has apologised to Essendon defender Conor McKenna for his COVID-19-related sledge during Saturday nights clash.
McDonald was criticised in some quarters for his conduct shortly after the half time siren, when he covered his face after getting into a heated argument with the Dons defender.
He appeared to mock McKennas positive coronavirus test, which saw him sidelined for multiple weeks.
Shaw said on Monday the unsavoury incident wasnt something North Melbourne stood for.
I want to address the Luke McDonald and Conor McKenna incident from the weekend, he told reporters on Monday.
Its not on, and not something that we stand for. Luke has called Conor and apologised.
McKenna made his first appearance for Essendon this season on Saturday night, collecting 18 touches and laying four tackles.
