Australian health authorities are urging the public not to worry about further news that one of the COVID-19 vaccines is not as effective as first hoped.
South Africa is stopping a rollout of the Oxford University/Astra-Zeneca vaccine among its health workers after early data showed it wasn’t very effective against the South African strain of the virus.
It’s the same vaccine that the average Australian is likely to receive when the rollout begins here.
