Gold Coast man fined for sinking car in Tweed River for YouTube stunt

A Gold Coast Youtuber who sunk a car and boat trailer in a river has marked avoiding jail for the stunt by throwing a dead chicken into an estuary.
Willem Ian Ungermann, known online as Willem Powerfish, claims he has “definitely matured a lot” after being fined $15,100 on Monday.

Ungermann attracted more than a million views for a video of him reversing the car and trailer into the Tweed River in northern New South Wales in November 2019.
