Chester Racecourse in the pipeline to become coronavirus mass vaccination centre – Cheshire Live
NHS England initially reported Chester Racecourse was to open as a vaccination on Monday 8, but discussions seem to be ongoing
Plans to transform Chester Racecourse into a large-scale coronavirus vaccination centre are in the pipeline.
Reports state it is one of 18 centres which will open as a vaccination hub to help the huge NHS Covid jab programme which has already got underway.
Elland Road, the home of Leeds United Football Club, is also one of 18 sites in discussion to provide vaccinations.
The potential new openings mean there could be more than 100 large-scale centres offering Covid-19 vaccines.
