Work has been suspended at the Goldfields mine after an underground worker fell from a height.

Work has been suspended at a gold mine in Western Australias Goldfields region after an underground worker fell from a height.
Saracen Mineral Holdings has put its shares in a trading halt after reporting the incident at its Dervish mine, south of Laverton, to the ASX.
The condition of the worker is not yet known.
WAs Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety is aware of the incident and has sent representatives to the site.
Operations at Saracens Carosue Dam operations, including the Dervish mine, have been suspended while a full investigation is completed.
