Going door-to-door in the Kent town on high alert for the South African COVID variant – Kent Live
ME15 in Maidstone is one of just eight specific areas in the UK being targeted by the unique testing scheme

Residents in Maidstone became some of the first in the country to take part in door-to-door coronavirus testing today (February 2).
Those over the age of 16 living in the ME15 postcode have been strongly encouraged to take a PCR COVID-19 test to establish whether they have the South African variant of the virus.
It comes after one case of the new variant was confirmed in ME15, with health officials attempting to stop it in its tracks as soon as possible.
