The Fremantle v Geelong Monday night game will be broadcast on Fox Footy, while the West Coast v Collingwood game will be an afternoon broadcast for Seven on Sunday.
In other round eight games, Sydney and Hawthorn clubs both subject to criticism for their playing styles in round six will play one another. That game is expected to be played in Sydney, where the Hawks are currently based.
Port Adelaide, who beat the Giants on Sunday and boast a 5-1 record to date, are set to host St Kilda in another round eight clash. The Saints will play the Crows in Adelaide next Monday night for round seven, so will stay in Adelaide in order to face the Power in SA.
Geelong and Collingwood cannot play the WA teams early in round eight despite the obvious attraction of having games with crowds in prime television slots such as Thursday or Friday nights due to the 14-day quarantine requirement.
