Steve Smith has won his third Allan Border Medal as Australia’s outstanding men’s cricket player.
Smith (126 votes) finished ahead of fellow multi-format star Pat Cummins (117) and limited overs skipper Aaron Finch (97).
The outstanding batsman joining David Warner as second on the all-time list behind four-time winners Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke.
Smith topped the runs across all formats with 1098 at 45.75, blasting four half centuries and four tons.
