McDonald scores stunner as Brisbane Roar thrash Melbourne Victory to go top – The World Game
Brisbane Roar have moved back to the top of the A-League ladder, thrashing Melbourne Victory 5-2 to claim their fourth straight win of the season.

Ex-Socceroo Scott McDonald and Japanese import Riku Danzaki scored doubles as the Roar ran rampant at Dolphin Stadium on Saturday, to post four consecutive league victories for the first time since January 2016.
Victory, in comparison, are bottom of the league with just one win from five matches and with pressure already starting to mount on head coach Grant Brebner.
It’s the second time this season the Roar have defeated Victory, having beaten Brebner’s team 3-1 in Melbourne on January 2.
