In a joint statement, Rio Tinto says the company made mistakes in communicating changes with the traditional owners of the Juukan Gorge heritage site.
Rio Tinto has moved to deal with fresh concerns raised by the traditional owners of the Juukan Gorge heritage sites, which were destroyed in blasts by the mining company to access iron ore.

- Following reports of the letter, Rio Tinto and the PKKP Aboriginal Corporation have now issued a joint statement
