Waiting years for a heavily hyped video game to come out and then finding out its nothing like what was promised is not a new phenomenon, even if the recent Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the worst examples for a long time.
Before that it was probably No Mans Sky, but its a tradition that goes all the way back to Pac-Man and E.T….
