Brisbane ‘sex slave ring’ accused face court over allegations of prostitution

Confronting details have been brought to light after a man and a woman were accused of sexually exploiting young women from a Brisbane home.

Matthew James Markcrow, 35, and his co-accused Crystal Marie Sawyer, 23, were arrested in dramatic fashion after a four-month-long investigation on Friday.

Police bodycam footage of the arrest showed a small bag of white powder and stacks of $50 notes being seized as Markcrow was put in handcuffs.
