Man brought to Canberra from Tasmania after alleged stabbing attack
A 33-year-old accused of trying to kill a man in a Canberra stabbing attack has been extradited to the ACT, with police warning they are likely to make more arrests.
Police said in October last year the man’s 23-year-old alleged victim sought help at a service station in Canberra’s south, after being stabbed in the legs, hands and neck.
At the time, officers said they believed the man had been attacked at a nearby scout hall, with the victim reporting at least one person had attacked him.
