People over 50 could get Covid jab ‘very quickly’, suggests vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi – Evening Standard

Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi raised hopes today that people in the 50 to 70 age group in Britain could be offered the Covid-19 jab very quickly.
He declared that the goal of offering the vaccine to 15 million people in the four top priority groups by mid-February would be met.
He also stressed that medics could administer more than 600,000 jabs a day, the record so far.
