Pixel phones will soon measure your heart rate using the camera – Neowin
Google has announced new camera features for Google Fit, which allow the app to measure a user’s heart rate and respiratory rate using just the camera on the phone….

These days, it’s fairly common to have a heart rate monitor on your wrist thanks to the advent of smartwatches and fitness bands, but if you have no interest in wearables, that feature is not as easily accessible. Some Samsung Galaxy S series phones had built-in heart rate monitors next to the rear camera, but that feature is all but gone in more modern devices.
