The clearest sign yet that Australia’s Tim Paine succession plan is in full swing – Fox Sports
In the first sign of Australia’s succession plan being put in place, Pat Cummins is reportedly set to be handed the NSW captaincy as early as Monday week.
The Sydney Morning Heraldreports that Cummins will take over Peter Nevill as skipper of the one-day side with the latter remaining captain of the Sheffield Shield team.
The 35-year old Nevill is set to be left out of the one-day team entirely, leaving the gap for Cummins to fill.
