Investigations continue into the infection of a hotel worker in Melbourne as Western Australia prepares to lift its lockdown.

After the latest positive case of COVID-19 in Melbournes south east on Wednesday, the state government has opened five new testing sites and extended the hours at several more.
The Age photographer Jason South popped out to Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Albert Park this morning where the current wait time is about 30 minutes, according to the health departments own website.
