UK strain of COVID-19 in Brisbane hotel corridors led to cluster, report finds
The Queensland government will recommend people in quarantine wear facemasks when opening their hotel room doors with a report into an outbreak set to reveal coronavirus is circulating in the corridors.
A report into an outbreak last month at Brisbane’s Hotel Grand Chancellor where a cleaner contracted COVID-19, resulting in a snap three-day lockdown of the city, is due to be released later on Friday.
