Joe Biden resets US foreign policy, calls for end to war in Yemen and stronger stance on Russia

In his first visit to the State Department as President, Joe Biden has asserted a reset of America’s foreign policy, stating the United States is ending its support for offensive operations in the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

- The US will continue to support and help Saudi Arabia to defend its sovereignty
- Mr Biden also called for a return to America’s “grounding wire of our global power”
