The results are in for the immediate contacts of a hotel quarantine worker who broke Victoria’s run without COVID.
A hotel quarantine worker who broke Victorias 28-day streak without a locally acquired COVID case does not appear to have passed the virus on.
Fifteen of the 26-year-old mans 17 immediate close contacts have all returned negative test results for coronavirus.
Premier Daniel Andrews last on Thursday night said it was good news.
So far, things are looking positive, but as we all know – the situation can change very quickly, and we arent out of the woods yet, he said.
