A stunning meltdown by the Sydney Thunder has allowed the Brisbane Heat to move one step closer to the BBL final after a seven-wicket win at Manuka Oval.

The Thunder was in cruise control in its defence of 3-158 on Sunday night, reducing the Heat to 3-70 after 12 overs.
But a switch suddenly flicked. Sam Heazlett found his stride and the Thunder lost all control, serving up full toss after full toss in a sloppy bowling display that changed everything.
The Heat took full advantage, scoring 0-92 after the 12th over to win with five balls remaining.
