Nick Scali urged to repay JobKeeper after dividend boost – Sydney Morning Herald
Furniture retailer Nick Scali is facing fresh political heat after hiking its dividend by 60 per cent despite claiming $3.5 million in JobKeeper payments.

Federal Labor MP Andrew Leigh told The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald there were clear grounds for the business to pay back the near $8 million in subsidies it had claimed, noting doing so would demonstrate good corporate social responsibility.
Theyve done extremely well, the Scali family has done extremely well, he said. They simply didnt need taxpayer support and they should give it back to people who need it.
