‘He’s got a point to prove’: Former teammate backs Benji to break into Souths’ starting side – Fox Sports
A former teammate of Benji Marshall believes the veteran playmaker can force his way into a Rabbitohs starting side that is overflowing with talent this season.
Souths are blessed with one of the most settled halves pairings in the game with skipper Adam Reynolds and Blues incumbent Cody Walker forming a long-term scrumbase partnership.
Many see Marshalls role as either coming off the bench or giving Reynolds and Walker a rest at times during a long season to freshen them up for the finals.
