‘We are sorry’: Collingwood players pen open letter on racism – The Age
Players from the Magpies’ AFL, AFLW and netball teams have collectively apologised to those who have suffered hurt at the club in the past.

Released by the club on Thursday, it begins with an apology to those whove suffered in the past a step that president Eddie McGuire was criticised for not taking when the club hierarchy fronted the media with the racism report on Monday.
The letter, which is endorsed by the entire playing groups of Collingwoods teams, reads as follows:
Sorry.
As athletes we are sorry to anyone who, through their association with our club, has been marginalised, hurt or discriminated against due to their race.
