Queensland woman loses fight to claim $2m Lotto winnings after losing ticket
A Queensland woman who claims to have lost a winning Lotto ticket worth $2 million seven years ago believes she could still have it.
Kathy Rado has lost a legal battle against Golden Casket for the winnings she says she “knows” she was entitled to.
Rado, from Cairns, claims she won the money in a Gold Lotto draw on January 22, 2014.
But she lost the ticket, most likely in her house.
“I know that I had the winning ticket,” she said.
“Being a hoarder … I still could have that ticket.”
