Teen boy, girl arrested in Gold Coast scrubland after alleged stolen car chase
Two children who allegedly led police on a stolen car chase before fleeing into scrubland on the Gold Coast have been caught.
The boy and girl, aged in their mid-teens, have been arrested at Pimpana in the city’s north on Wednesday afternoon.
The pursuit began when police spotted a stolen Hyundai SUV at Pacific Pines shopping centre.
Officers and a police helicopter tracked the car through Helensvale and Oxenford.
It was abandoned by the rural Green Meadows Road in Pimpana before the teens…
