Paul Green is set to take charge of Queensland’s 2021 State of Origin campaign ahead of champion former fullback Billy Slater.
Paul Green is set to take charge of Queensland’s 2021 State of Origin campaign after his extensive experience trumped a bid for former fullback Billy Slater to make his coaching debut in the interstate arena.
The QRL has not yet officially commented on the vacant coaching post, but it’s understood Green’s appointment on a one-year deal will be confirmed if not as early as Wednesday, then by the end of this week.
