JobKeeper payment ending as Queensland CEO warns staff to expect redundancies
Workers at one of North Queensland’s largest employers have been told they might not have a job in eight week’s time.
Quicksilver Group CEO Tony Baker, whose company runs tours to destinations including the Great Barrier Reef, sent an email to staff on Tuesday.
It warned that retrenchments were likely once the JobKeeper wage subsidy scheme ended on March 28.
