Historic ‘Oaklands’ home in Warriewood at risk of demolition after vandals move in
A historic house in Sydney’s north that was supposed to be protected by developers could now be demolished, after being targeted by vandals and squatters.

The Oaklands homestead dates to the 1920s, and is tucked into bush at Warriewood, on Sydney’s northern beaches.
In 2015 developers Warriewood Pty Ltd bought the land and submitted plans to build 81 apartments and townhouses on the five hectares that surround the house.
