Greens councillor reprimanded for social media post on rent assistance
Cr Sri has rejected the finding of inappropriate conduct, saying the offer for help was within his office’s business.
During the meeting, which Cr Sri was not able to address, the committee members found only the first allegation was inappropriate conduct.
Labor councillor Peter Cumming said he did not think the use of such data was “correct” and that it could be considered inappropriate.
But Cr Cumming conceded the details would not have been passed on without the landlords’ consent, even if that was not explicitly said by Cr Sri to begin with.
