Potentia secures big pay day as US strategic buys Ascender – The Australian Financial Review
Private equity group Potentia Capital has hit a home run with its regional payroll services business Ascender.
The industrial logic of this transaction is very compelling, Potentia founder Andrew Gray said in a statement to Street Talk on Monday night.
The combination of the two businesses will strengthen Ceridians leadership in the APJ region, accelerate its global growth strategy and deliver even greater value to customers.
Ascenders payroll software serves more than 1.3 million employees in the Asia Pacific Japan region. The group employees about 900 people and has more than 1200 clients.
